Lily our Garden Center Cat
Well we are all getting a little cabin fever and we can't wait to get out into the Garden Center. Even though we know there will be tons and tons of work once the snow has gone.
So much at Fern Glen will be different this year - more parking (thank heavens), flatter grounds (at last) and by the time Mothers Day arrives we will have Lily's Coffee Cafe open with decent coffee and tea (in english china cups if you want) and homemade treats. Plus great new planting materials and lot and lots of flowers .... I just love spring flowers.
There are so many exciting things in the works that I feel quite giddy (and a bit panicky) at the thought of it all - just know we are going to have lots of fun this year and I think I am going to ban negative talk when we open our gates. Our slogan just has to be be "Economy got you down??? Dig in ... a beautiful garden does wonders for the soul" .
Come around to see us this season and plan to get your hands in the dirt and let us all grow beautiful gardens.
